My top 5 favorite places I've been to in Italy

Having a remote job + being required to travel at it, gave me the opportunity to go to amazing countries, Italy being one! Below is a list of my top 5 favorite places in Italy:

5. Bergamo

Known today as the new epicenter for Coronavirus, Bergamo is such ab amazing place. It's literally a city within a city. Cittá Alta (the old town enclosed in walls) and Cittá Bassa (the city outside the walls).

4. Verona

The city of love. Made famous by Romeo and Juliet. It's a small but beautiful city in northern Italy, with many nice little places to visit (like Juliet's house, the "mini" colosseum or some gardens).

3. Firenze

A city with too much history. You can either visit the Medici palace or Piazza del Duomo, all while eating an amazing fragola gelato. There's a Da Vinci Museum too!

2. Venezia

This is probably number 1 for many and it's well deserved! Try getting lost in its charming little streets and small bridges, it promises an everlasting memoir!

1. Cinque Terre

My first place is actually 5. Cinque Terre means five towns. This is one of Italy's hidden jewels and in my opinion THE BEST PLACE to go. (Note: best time to go is in summer!)

As a child, I wanted to be many things: an astronaut, an architect, a robot maker…the list goes on. Each role had its own differences, but one thing was similar about all - they all had a pinch of engineering.

My curiosity for engineering and love for technology led me to study Mechatronics Engineering. Later in my studies, I fell in love with the Maker Movement. This is when it finally hit me. My true passion... creating things!
