Will the COVID-19 outbreak reshape the future of work?

The Coronavirus hit! And it hit us all hard!

A couple of months ago, it was a disease at the other side of the world (China). Today (March 25th), there are over 400k confirmed cases.

I don't pretend to be a bearer of bad news, but is there a silver lining to all that's happening? I'm sure there are. And working from home is one of them.

Remote work has been a taboo for many companies, not to say inconceivable to some, but today those companies are also working from home due to the pandemic.

This is, without a doubt, shaping the future of work! Tell me optimistic. But hey, I've been working remotely my last 5+ years, so why wouldn't this be possible for others?

The future will tell us for sure, but hopefully more remote work opportunities will arise once this is over.
